Tortured For Christ is a period film, a docudrama, that unfolds the incredible life of VOM founder Richard Wurmbrand. Arrested by the invading Communists in 1948 for preaching the gospel, Richard endured fourteen-and-a-half years of brutal physical and psychological torture without surrendering his commitment to Christ. Directed by John Grooters and produced by GP, this film was shot entirely on location in Romania. It is scheduled to be released in Q1 in 2018.
Based on the Tortured For Christ docudrama, this short film takes its place as the 2017 installment in the International Day of Prayer series, a collection of annually-released short films from the Voice of the Martyrs. Filmed entirely on location in Romania, Solitary Prayer highlights stories from VOM founder Richard Wurmbrand's time in Communist prison as told in the Tortured For Christ docudrama, focusing on the power of prayer in the darkest of circumstances.
The Voice of the Martyrs is a 501c3 organization dedicated to serving persecuted Christians on a global scale. GP partnered with VOM and David C Cook to create this six-part video curriculum, which was released along with a book called i-am-n.
For the video curriculum, GP presented stories of Iraqi Christians who were brutally driven from their homes in Mosul by ISIS invaders. It was an honor to tell the stories of our brothers and sisters in the Middle East.
Exile Night is a VOM-sponsored event for student groups. The goal is for kids and young adults to gain a deeper understanding of what Christian refugees experience. Working with VOM, GP designed print materials and produced videos for these events.
At VOM Advance Conferences, speakers from around the world share personal testimonies about God’s faithfulness in the midst of horrific persecution. GP produced promotional and in-conference videos for these events.
